1950年頃、ニューヨークでポロウィッツ家が所有する
レジーナノベルティカンパニーにより設立されたブランド。
品質の優れたガラスラインストーン等の素材を使用し、
見事な色合い・高品質デザインと高い技術で人気に。
主にＮＹやシカゴなどの大都市有名デパートに直接
卸されていた。作品には「RegencyJewels」または
「REGENCY」の刻印。コレクターも多い人気ブランド。
Regency Creations jewelry is practically absent from the vintage jewelry market, and has remained only in advertisements. Thanks to these advertising posters, we can see the unique style, design, used materials and hallmark which consists of the letters R-C. The company was active in 1950-60s.
W. Bell & Co made brooches, earrings, bracelets, pendants, necklaces, lockets made of gold and silver. The company owned 10 trademarks, and 5 of them were for the production of jewelry, including Regency. The company had branches in Illinois and Maryland, where the jewelry brand Regency was launched in 1974.
The most common on the vintage jewelry market are pieces made by Regency Jewelry Corporation of New York. Incorporated in 1956, Regency Jewelry Corporation ceased to exist in 1993. Clearly marked “Regency” in capital letters on an oval cartouche, today these brooches, earrings and bracelets are collectible. Richly decorated with multi-colored rhinestones, crystals, glass, these insect, leafy and floral motif pieces demonstrate high quality craftsmanship.
